Occupational Therapy

It's important that all children be able to participate in daily experiences that help them grow and develop. Occupational therapy is a holistic approach that provides meaningful opportunities for development and empowers the family to raise a happy and thriving child. Take a look at some of the areas we target.

Feeding

Feeding services aim to build skill, confidence, and flexible thinking about foods to help your child expand their diet and enjoy mealtimes.

Sensory Processing

Sensory processing refers to how our brain uses information from our senses to make sense of the world around us. OT helps kids recognize, respond, and cope with this information within their daily environments.

Handwriting

We get to the root of handwriting challenges by first assessing a child’s posture, eyes, and hands. Individualized plans that are multisensory and fun help kids build skills and confidence with writing and prepare them for school.

Self Care

Let us help your child gain independence in their daily routines to be more self sufficient at home and school. Independence builds confidence and a sense of self!

Motor Development

Infants and children learn to move through play. We use purposeful play interventions that are fun and build strength and coordination needed to reach developmental milestones.

Community Integration

Great lives need community! OT can help your child safely and confidently navigate their local community. Interventions focus on safety, thinking skills, money management, and social interactions.

Gerri A., Parent

"Jessica is amazing!  She was so attuned to my son's physical, mental, and emotional well-being.  She let him help set goals based on what he wanted to accomplish and gave him such a sense of empowerment.  My son was able to accomplish more with Jessica in one year than he had accomplished in the previous five years with multiple therapists.  Jessica's knowledge and skills are impressive, but her heart for children is what makes her the best!"
